Batucada Lessons

This fall, in partnership with Youth Opportunities Unlimited we will be offering BATUKADA lessons. Two groups of fourth and fifth graders will participate in a six-week African drumming program.

Cape Verdean Cooking Demonstartion

In partnership with Coastal Food Shed, a pop-up mobile stand, and cooking demonstration by a Cape Verdean chef will take place this summer in our adjacent lot. Cape Verdean dishes will be
made with local produce and feature local foods. Look forward to these festivities as we move outdoors.
